Below are some helpful tips when uploading your own design or using our template.
All print products come in different sizes as you may need it. These sizes have to be design in a way that makes print finishing looks good as intended. The design for different sizes follows the same principle.
For the purpose of illustration we will use business cards size to illustrate bleed and safe area.
Document size
Make size 3.5” x 2“without bleed (that is without background colour) or make 3.75” x 2.25” with bleed (that is with background colour). This means you should add 0.125” of bleed all around your artwork.
Keep Text within Safe Area
Please be sure to keep all text within safe margin by subtracting 0.125 all around your artwork from the original size e.g. safe area for business cards is 3.25” x 1.75”. Safe area helps to make sure that all important text or image on your artwork that you intend people to see is not cut off during trimming.

What is a Bleed?
Bleed is a background colour or image that stops at the edge of the finished product like business card after trimming. Bleed helps to prevent an unwanted white border from showing at the edge of your finished product. To avoid this, be sure to extend any background colours or design elements all the way to the edge during design.
Resolution
To avoid blurry or non crisp image please design at 300dpi resolution
Border on your Graphics
If your design has a border that is thinner than 0.25″, it may result in an uneven border thickness when printed and cut, Please avoid thin border.
